Recently we planned a military reunion for 10 World War II veterans. The vets got together just to socialize and talk about life, love, and the pursuit of liberty. Bookitinvegas.com arranged for their stay and meals in a non-gaming hotel, as they preferred, and transportation to and from the airport. We also set up a hospitality room where the men displayed their many photos and other memorabilia. Each night the group went to dinner in a van we provided. During the day the men moved freely from dining room to swimming pool. They chose not to attend any shows, but Bookitinvegas.com arranged for a trio to play songs of their favorite era—the 1940s—at dinner.
A slightly larger event we facilitated was a five-day high school reunion attended by 54 members of the class of 1974. We arranged hotel accommodations and all meals, a first-night reception, kept the hospitality room stocked with food and beverages, planned a banquet and hired an appropriate band for entertainment, and arranged for tickets and transportation to Beatles Love at The Mirage and spa treatments at The Bellagio. This group was so active that we even arranged a tour of Hoover Dam and hikes at Red Rock and Mount Charleston.
A continuing medical education program for 840 physicians was a larger event. While the physicians completed their CME coursework in the Bookitinvegas.com-arranged seminar rooms at their hotel, spouses enjoyed a more pleasure-oriented program with trips to the Fashion Show Mall, a tour of the best fine art Vegas has to offer, cooking demonstrations, and a lecture on Las Vegas past and present.
